You’ll be using equipment such as barbells, dumbells, gymnastic rings, pull-up bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, plyo boxes, all of which will be a part of the prescribed workout of the day, otherwise known as the “WOD”. Each CrossFit class lasts for one hour is led by one of our qualified coaches, the class typically involves a warm-up, a skill or strength segment, the high intensity WOD as well as a cool down. We use an app called SugarWod to record, score/rank our workouts and strength numbers, we use this to encourage competition within the gym but way more importantly we use the app to track your individual progress. The SugarWod app is free and all gym members have access to this.
